Which Stocks Gained the Most on Borsa Istanbul Today?

The BIST 100 index continued to move with positive momentum today.

The BIST 100 has maintained its positive momentum since November 6, rising to a high of 9,435 points today. In the last hour, the index was trading around 9,370 points with a 0.8% increase. The index outside of BIST 100 experienced more gains today, rising approximately 1.3% as it approached the close.

In Borsa Istanbul, the most demanded sectors on average today were insurance, sports, and tourism. There were no sectors moving negatively in the last hour, while technology, transportation, and electricity saw the least demand. In Borsa Istanbul overall, MERKO, BRMEN, and RYSAS were among the top gainers today. SURGY, ARTMS, and NTHOL shares dropped to their lower price limits, making them the largest losers.

In the domestic foreign exchange market, USD/TRY remained steady at 34.35, while EUR/TRY traded at 36.42, showing a 0.25% increase. The price of gold per gram fell to 2,832 TRY, down approximately 0.40%.

In foreign markets, Asian indices closed the day negatively. European indices, on the other hand, have been moving positively towards the end of the day. US indices have shown a slightly positive horizontal trend in early trading.
