Istanbul Energy Forum to Take Place Tomorrow at Istanbul Congress Center with President Erdogan's Participation

Foreks - Influential figures in the global energy market are gathering in Istanbul. The Istanbul Energy Forum will take place on Friday, November 22, at the Istanbul Congress Center. Under the motto "Shared Future, Shared Goals," President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will present Turkey's energy perspective at the forum.

Participation at Ministerial Level from 10 Countries
The forum, organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, will see participation from 10 countries at the ministerial level. In addition to high-level representatives from international energy companies, local and foreign non-governmental organizations, academics, business leaders, and media executives will also take part in this significant event.

All Aspects of Energy on the Table
The forum, which will be held at the Istanbul Congress Center on November 22 and will last throughout the day, will address topics such as smart transformation in energy, climate change, global and regional collaborations, supply security, financing energy transformation, new technologies and fuels in energy.

Shared Future, Shared Goals
During the main session of the forum, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will deliver a speech. While sharing Turkey’s energy perspective with the attendees, President Erdoğan will emphasize global and regional collaborations in line with the vision of shared future and shared goals.

Turkey’s Energy Outlook
In the main session, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar will also provide insights regarding Turkey's energy outlook and future goals. Fahrettin Altun, the President's Communication Director, and Anadolu Agency General Manager Serdar Karagöz will also give speeches on energy, communication, and diplomacy.

Challenges and Opportunities
Following the main session, a ministerial panel titled "Challenges and Opportunities for a Resilient Future" will be moderated by Minister Bayraktar. This session will include participation from Azerbaijan's Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov, Bulgaria's Minister of Energy Vladimir Malinov, Hungary's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto, Moldova's Minister of Energy Victor Parlicov, Libya's Minister of Oil and Gas Khalifa Abdulsadek, Serbia's Minister of Energy and Mining Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic, and Uzbekistan's Minister of Energy Curabek Mirzamahmudov.

Four Different Sessions
Additionally, the Istanbul Energy Forum will feature sessions titled "New Dynamics of Gas Security: Regional Perspectives," "Expectations for New Technologies and Fuels in Smart Energy Transformation," and "Financing Energy Transformation: Expectations and Priorities." The forum will conclude with the "Anadolu Agency Appreciation and Evaluation Meeting."
