Which Stocks Gained the Most Today on Borsa İstanbul?
The BIST 100 index showed a volatile course today but had a partial increase towards the close.
The BIST 100 index started the day with an increase, rising up to 8,982 points during the day. After sharp sell-offs in the midday, the index fell to 8,840 points, later moving within the range of 8,859 to 8,931 points in the afternoon trades. Near the close, the BIST 100 is operating in the 8,890 point band with a 0.30% increase. Currently, the BIST 100 index shows nearly a half-point drop on a weekly basis, ending October with an 8.3% loss. This marks the fourth consecutive month of negative closing for the index.
While a partial increase was observed in the stock market today, technology, construction, and communication emerged as the sectors with the highest gains. Conversely, tourism, banking, and insurance exerted downward pressure on the index as the sectors with the most losses. Banks were unable to maintain their gains from the morning and fell into negative territory towards the end of the day.

Across Borsa Istanbul, PATEK, SOKE, and ISGSY shares traded at ceiling prices, ranking among the top gainers. TSGYO, ISKPL, and SURGY, on the other hand, were the biggest losers today.
In foreign markets, Asian indices closed the week in mixed territory. European indices are preparing to close the day in positive territory, while U.S. indices also started the day in the positive.
