Announcement: ÖİB Launches Tender for the Full Privatisation of Seyhan 2 and Yüreğir Hydroelectric Power Plants

The Privatization Administration has opened a tender to privatize the Seyhan-2 and Yüreğir hydroelectric power plants located in Adana and the real estate used by these plants as a whole. The announcement of the tender by the Privatization Administration was published in the Official Gazette. Accordingly, the Seyhan 2 and Yüreğir Hydroelectric Power Plants, located in Adana and owned by Electricity Generation Inc., will be privatized as a whole (Seyhan 2 and Yüreğir HPP) through the "Transfer of Operating Rights" method under the provisions of Law No. 4046 on Privatization Practices. The bid guarantee amount for the tender has been set at 8 million TL. The deadline for submitting final bids is December 18, 2024. The tender will be conducted using the "negotiation" method by obtaining sealed bids from multiple bidders and holding discussions.
