Energy Import Bill Decreased by 16.4% in September
Forex - Turkey's energy import bill in September decreased by 16.4% compared to the same month last year. According to the statement made by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the import amount for mineral fuels, mineral oils, and products derived from their distillation, bituminous substances, and mineral waxes amounted to 4 billion 707 million 993 thousand dollars last month. In the same month of 2023, the import bill was at 5 billion 628 million 475 thousand dollars. In the first 9 months of the year, energy imports fell by 7.4% to 47 billion 955 million 651 thousand dollars.
