The Competition Authority deemed the commitments made regarding the acquisition of Stellantis by Tofaş as insufficient. The statement noted: "In the transaction concerning the acquisition of Stellantis Otomotiv Pazarlama A.Ş, owned by Stellantis N.V. (STELLANTIS), by TOFAŞ Türk Otomobil A.Ş., which is under the joint control of STELLANTIS and Koç Holding (IS:KCHOL) A.Ş., the Competition Board decided in its meeting numbered 23-54/1029-M on 23.11.2023, in accordance with the first paragraph of Article 10 of Law No. 4054, to conduct a final review of the matter. Following discussions in the meeting numbered 24-43/1027-M on 24.10.2024, the Competition Board concluded that the commitments provided by the applicants were not sufficient to authorize the transaction."
