General Motors Company reported a third-quarter net income of $3.06 billion. GM stated it earned a net profit of $2.68 per share. The adjusted net income, excluding non-recurring costs, was $2.96 per share. The results surpassed Wall Street expectations, where the average estimate from seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was in the range of $2.43 to $2.49 per share. GM generated revenue of $48.76 billion during this period, while analysts had anticipated revenues between $43.99 billion to $44.6 billion. General Motors expects full-year earnings in the range of $10 to $10.50 per share. The pre-tax profit forecast was revised from $13-15 billion to $14-15 billion.
