Halkbank: Fire on the 5th Floor of Our Main IFM Building Controlled

Foreks - Halkbank announced that a fire broke out in the storage area on the 5th basement level of its main building in Istanbul Financial Center due to a technical malfunction. The bank reported that the fire was brought under control quickly thanks to the rapid intervention of the firefighting teams, and the cooling efforts have been successfully completed.

In Halkbank's statement, it was noted: "On December 2, 2024, at 04:18 (outside of working hours), a fire occurred in the storage area on the -5th basement level of our main building in Istanbul Financial Center (IFM) due to a technical malfunction. The fire was brought under control in a short time thanks to the rapid intervention of the firefighting teams, and the cooling efforts have been successfully completed. There have been no injuries in the incident, and there is no safety issue in our building. Our bank continues its services without interruption."
