Forex - Sabancı Holding and Carrefour Group subsidiary CarrefourSA (IS:CRFSA) achieved significant success on the international stage with the "Greenwise Energy Usage Transition and Reduction for CarrefourSA" project. CarrefourSA won the "Best Retail Innovation & Artificial Intelligence Project" award at the MAPIC Awards 2024, becoming the first and only organized food retail brand in Turkey to receive an award in this category.

The MAPIC Awards, one of the most prestigious awards in the international retail and trade sector, recognizes the most innovative and effective projects each year. This year's award program, with over 150 projects competing, highlighted the future impact of sustainability and artificial intelligence-focused initiatives. CarrefourSA, a leading brand in Turkey's organized food retail sector, was honored with this significant award for its innovative energy management system.

Major Step in Energy Savings and Carbon Footprint Reduction
CarrefourSA, in collaboration with Florawise, offers an innovative solution using autonomous artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to optimize energy consumption and reduce carbon emissions with its "Greenwise Energy Usage Transition and Reduction for CarrefourSA" project. By analyzing energy consumption patterns in its stores, CarrefourSA's system optimizes HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), cooling, and lighting systems in real-time based on external environmental conditions and internal changes, achieving a 20% energy savings and preventing 29,000 tons of carbon emissions as part of the project.
