Amazon Develops Smart Glasses for Delivery Drivers

According to information provided to Reuters by sources who wish to remain anonymous, Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) is developing smart glasses to direct delivery personnel to buildings, around buildings, and inside them.

Due to the project not being public, those who spoke on the condition of anonymity indicated that if successful, the glasses will provide step-by-step navigation on a small embedded screen along the delivery personnel's routes and at each stop. The glasses will allow delivery personnel to carry more packages by freeing them from the need to use handheld Global Positioning System devices.
