Which Stocks Gained the Most on Borsa Istanbul Today?

The BIST 100 index maintained its positive trend on the first trading day of the week. The BIST 100 opened with an increase, reaching up to the 9,280 point range, and remained flat in the 9,220-9,260 point range for most of the day. As the closing approached, the index broke its flat trend upwards and moved in the 9,290 point range with an increase of over 1% in the last hour. The daily trading volume of the index exceeded 85 billion TL by the end of the day.

Today, the sectors that stood out with increases on the Borsa Istanbul were communications, tourism, and banking. Conversely, sports, construction, trade, insurance, and food experienced negative movements in the last hour. The five stocks that increased the most in the BIST 100 today were as follows at the end of the day: ENERY YEOTK VAKBN ISMEN GESAN On the other hand, the five stocks that declined the most today in the BIST 100 were: SOKM ENKAI BJKAS ULKER GOLTS Overall, ISGSY, FADE, and KAPLM were among the top gainers in the Borsa Istanbul today. Meanwhile, BRMEN, SUNTK, and MTRKS were ranked as the biggest losers as the market approached the close.

In the domestic foreign exchange market, the dollar/TL started the week flat at 34.34. The euro/TL fell by 0.6% to 36.63 today, continuing to move at its lowest levels since August. There was a significant decline in gold, with the gram gold price dropping by 2.25% and falling to the 2,900 TL threshold.

In international markets, a generally positive atmosphere continues, except for the mixed outlook in Asian indices. European indices maintained their positive momentum as the day progressed. U.S. indices also began the new week with buying pressure.
