Codelco Offers Chinese Customers Copper Premium of $89/Ton - Sources

According to sources, Chile's state-owned copper producer Codelco has offered a premium of $89 per ton for refined copper production to Chinese customers for the year 2025. Sources indicate that this figure has changed little compared to a year ago. Codelco, the world's largest copper miner, has been struggling to increase production after hitting historically low levels over the past two years. It is expected to produce between 1.325 million and 1.352 million tons of copper this year.
