Istanbul Stock Exchange Starts the Day Steady: Which Stocks Took the Spotlight at Opening?

The BIST 100 index started the day with a change of 0.08% at 8,939.4 points. After a flat opening, the BIST 100 recorded a partial increase, moving in the range of 8,950 points during the first hour. The index rose by 0.95% in yesterday's trading, finishing the day at 8,946 points. With increasing purchases towards the end of the day, the index continued its recovery trend in the second half of the week.

Approximately 79.5 billion TL in trading volume was generated in the BIST 100 yesterday. This trading volume accounted for 78% of the total volume. In the BIST 100, 67 stocks gained value while 31 stocks fell. On the last trading day of the week at Borsa İstanbul, the construction, information technology, and communication sectors started with the highest value increase. The cement, food, and paper sectors were among those that began the day with declines.

In Borsa İstanbul, BRMEN, IHLAS, and ARTMS stocks were among those with the highest increases at the opening. Conversely, DURDO, BSOKE, and ONRYT stocks started the day with the most significant decreases.

In the domestic currency market, the dollar/TL began the day up by 0.35% at 34.35. The euro/TL experienced a slight decrease of 0.16%, trading around the 37 mark. Gold per gram was trading at 2,965 TL, down by 0.35%.

In international markets, Asian indices are preparing to close the week with a predominantly downward trend. While US and European indices showed positive movement in yesterday's trading, US futures indices are trending positively in the morning, while European futures are displaying a mixed outlook.
