Which Stocks Gained the Most on Borsa Istanbul Today?

The BIST 100 index initially moved downward throughout the day but rebounded with increased buying in the final hour.

After remaining relatively stable in the 8,860-8,880 point range during the first half of the day, the BIST 100 index fell to 8,800 points in the second half. With buyers stepping in during the last hour, the index turned upward and is now trading around 8,920 points, showing a rise of over half a point as it approaches the closing. The BIST 30 stocks recovered more quickly, achieving nearly a 1% increase. The index outside of BIST 100, however, posted a more modest gain of 0.2%.

Sector-wise, factoring, telecommunications, and transportation were the biggest gainers today. In contrast, the cement, paper, and tourism sectors experienced the most significant declines. While banks surged by over 1.5% towards the closing, conglomerates declined by nearly 1%.

• AGROT

Among all stocks listed in Borsa İstanbul, the biggest gainers today were DMSAS, MARKA, and ODINE. On the other hand, BSOKE, DURDO, and BTCIM ranked as the biggest losers today.

In the domestic foreign exchange market, the dollar/TL rose by 0.1% to 34.23, the euro/TL increased by 1% to 37.15, and the gram gold price rose by 1.25% to trade around 2,962 TL.

In international markets, Asian indices closed positively overall. European and US indices also maintained a positive trend.
