President Erdoğan Congratulates Donald Trump

In a statement made on his social media account, Erdoğan congratulated Trump on being re-elected as President of the United States, stating, "I congratulate my friend Donald Trump, who was re-elected as President of the United States after winning the presidential election in a great struggle."

Erdoğan also expressed his hope for the strengthening of Turkish-American relations in the new term. Emphasizing that relations between the two countries should be advanced further, Erdoğan noted that this period would present opportunities for new collaborations and projects.

Vote counting continues As the vote counting for the U.S. presidential election, contested between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, continues, Trump declared his victory in a speech made in Florida. According to the election results, Trump garnered 51.2% of the votes, surpassing Harris, who received 47.4%.

Trump exceeded the necessary 270 delegates required for the presidency, securing 277 delegates.
