R1 RCM Reports Mixed Q3 Results, Revenue Projections Surpass Expectations

MURRAY, Utah - Technology-focused healthcare revenue cycle management solutions provider R1 RCM Inc. (NASDAQ: RCM) reported mixed third-quarter results. While revenue exceeded expectations, earnings fell below estimates.

The company reported a net loss of $19.9 million, or $0.05 per share, compared to a net profit of $1.3 million in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings per share were reported at $(0.05), missing analysts' estimates of $(0.01).

Quarterly revenue increased by 14.7% year-over-year to $656.8 million, surpassing the consensus estimate of $640.93 million. This growth was driven by increases across all segments, with modular and other revenues rising by 26.7% to $221.4 million.

R1 CFO Jennifer Williams stated, "R1 has successfully continued the integration of our latest end-to-end business partner despite previously announced industry and customer-specific technology disruptions."

Adjusted EBITDA decreased by 8.2% year-over-year to $148.2 million. The company attributed this decline to the recent impacts of supplier and customer disruptions on both revenue and costs.
