TUPRS Shares Resume Trading Following Tüpraş's Official Statement

Following the statement by Tüpraş (TUPRS) officials to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) regarding the fire at their facilities, Borsa Istanbul announced that TUPRS shares will resume trading.

The statement made by Tüpraş to KAP is as follows:

“A fire occurred today around 1:30 PM at the PLT-33 isomerization unit of the Tüpraş Izmit Refinery. The refinery teams responded immediately to the incident, and according to initial findings, 12 of our colleagues have been lightly injured and have been sent to the hospital for examinations. The fire has currently been extinguished, and the unit has been shut down in a controlled manner. Other operations at the refinery are continuing as normal. It is not expected that this fire will have a significant impact on our operations and financial condition.”

Following this statement, Borsa Istanbul issued the following notification:

“The TUPRS.E stock, associated warrants, and futures and options contracts based on TUPRS shares will be reopened for trading at 3:25 PM using continuous trading method due to the special situation announcement requested by the company being published on the Public Disclosure Platform. Cancellation of orders, price deterioration, and reduction in quantities may occur in the trading orders and contracts before the opening.”
