Hisense Aims to Become the Top TV Seller in the U.S. Within 2 Years
Hisense, the China-based home appliance manufacturer, aims to become the number one TV seller in the U.S. within two years. To strengthen its brand in the U.S., the company became the first official partner of the FIFA Club World Cup, set to begin in Miami in June 2025. Catherine Fang, President of Hisense International, stated in an exclusive interview with CNBC, "We hope to increase our market share through this sponsorship." Fang mentioned that the company's latest TVs use an in-house artificial intelligence chip to improve image quality and indicated that they plan to enhance the use of AI to improve sound quality or provide athlete statistics via voice commands.
