Title: Monthly Increase of 0.2% and Annual Rise of 2.7% in Number of Paid Employees

In the combined sectors of industry, construction, and trade-services, the number of paid employees increased by 2.7% in September 2024 compared to the same month of the previous year. The number of paid employees was 15,550,366 in September of the previous year, while it reached 15,973,744 in September 2024.

According to the announcement made by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), when examining the subdetails of paid employees, it was noted that in September 2024, the number of paid employees in the industry sector decreased by 0.7% year-on-year, increased by 6.3% in the construction sector, and increased by 4.0% in the trade-services sector.
