The Most Popular Stocks in Brokerage Model Portfolios Revealed
After the announcement of the financial results for the third quarter of 2024 from companies listed on Borsa Istanbul, the most favored stocks in model portfolios created by brokerage firms have been revealed.
According to data compiled from 28 model portfolios and recommendation lists monitored by Foreks, the top 5 preferred stocks remain unchanged from our previous report, with only a position swap occurring between the top two. In the report published at the beginning of October, Turkcell (IS:TCELL), which held the first position, has been replaced by Turkish Airlines (IS:THYAO).
Turkish Airlines appeared in the model portfolios of 19 brokerage firms, while Turkcell was included in 18 portfolios. Migros (IS:MGROS) was listed in 17, BİM (IS:BIMAS) in 15, and Akbank (IS:AKBNK) in 11 model portfolios.
Following these, Mavi Giyim and Koç Holding (IS:KCHOL) appeared in 10 model portfolios, Sabancı Holding appeared in 9, and Tüpraş (IS:TUPRS) was included in 8 model portfolios. Coca-Cola (IS:CCOLA) İçecek, Ford (IS:FROTO) Otosan, Garanti Bankası (IS:GARAN), TAV Havalimanları (IS:TAVHL), Türk Telekom (IS:TTKOM), and YKB were included in 7 model portfolios.
A total of 68 different stocks were represented across the 28 model portfolios.
For the most favored stock, Turkish Airlines, the average target price expressed in model portfolios was 445.69 TL. The average target price for Turkcell was 139.6 TL, for Migros it was 696.08 TL, for BİM it was 658.63 TL, for Akbank it was 78.77 TL, for Koç Holding it was 307.71 TL, for Mavi Giyim it was 140.21 TL, for Sabancı Holding it was 135.527 TL, for Tüpraş it was 220.23 TL, for Coca-Cola İçecek it was 82.99 TL, for Ford Otosan it was 1394.17 TL, for Garanti Bankası it was 157.78 TL, for TAV Havalimanları it was 364.5 TL, and for YKB it was 42 TL.
