TANKER REPORT - Dardanelles and Bosphorus Straits Closed to Transit Passage Today

Foreks - The Çanakkale Strait, one of the most important routes for transporting oil from the Black Sea region countries to the world, is closed to transit traffic due to platform passage as of 11:15, while the Istanbul Strait has been closed since 06:50. According to a report received via email from Tribeca Maritime Services, a total of 15 tankers are expected to pass through the straits today. No adverse weather conditions are forecasted for the next two days around both straits.
