Turkey's Total Revenue Increased by 47% Compared to Last Year
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has published the Ciro Index report for September 2024. According to the report, the total turnover index for the industrial, construction, trade, and service sectors increased by 47% year-on-year. This increase is seen as an indicator of the vibrancy of economic activities and market movements.
When examining detailed data, it is noteworthy that the annual turnover index for the industrial sector experienced a 33.2% increase. The construction sector leads with a substantial turnover increase of 76.4%. The trade sector recorded a 49% increase, while the service sector saw an increase of 55.4%. All these figures suggest that different sectors positively influence the economic dynamics.
Total turnover increased by 5.5% month-on-month. According to TÜİK reports, the turnover index for the industrial, construction, trade, and service sectors showed a 5.5% increase in September 2024 compared to the previous month. This monthly increase indicates the continuity of economic recovery.
Looking at the detailed data, the monthly turnover index for the industrial sector increased by 5.8%. A 5.0% increase was observed in the construction sector. The trade sector experienced a 5.7% increase, while the service sector's turnover index rose by 4.3%. These figures indicate a continuation of economic activity across a wide range of sectors on a monthly basis.
