Turkey Conducts High-Level Visit to Huawei R&D Center in Beijing

During a visit to China led by Mehmet Şimşek, the Minister of Treasury and Finance of the Republic of Turkey, a high-level Turkish delegation headed by Mustafa Tuzcu, the Deputy Minister of Trade, visited Huawei's R&D center in Beijing to closely examine the company's advanced technology initiatives. The delegation was briefed on Huawei's work in areas such as fintech, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and green transformation.

The visit, led by Deputy Minister of Trade Mustafa Tuzcu, also included representatives from the Turkish Presidency's Investment Office, the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the Ministry of Justice. The delegation was welcomed by Jeff Wang, Senior Vice President of Huawei, at the Beijing R&D Center.

Throughout the visit, the delegation had the opportunity to closely examine Huawei's global R&D efforts and technological innovations. Comprehensive information was provided to the members about Huawei's projects in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, and green transformation.

During the visit at the Huawei Beijing R&D Center, a high-level meeting took place between the Turkish delegation and Huawei officials. The meeting assessed potential collaborations in Turkey's digital and green transformation journey. Delegation members also experienced driverless driving with autonomous vehicles developed using Huawei technology.
